This app is great because it makes me want to explore other arrondissements and try all the tasty treats that are available in this amazing city! As I come to Paris quite often, this app helps me discover new places and gets me out of my "usual" arrondissement. If you are just visiting the city its great to have and you can plan out a list of places to go to by district. Plus you have different categories whether you are in the mood for chocolates, ice cream, candy, pastries...etc. Thanks David for compiling and sharing this...I know when Im back in the city Ill have to at least try a couple of new places each time.
you dont need wifi or internet to use this app. this will be convenient especially while traveling in Paris. I also appreciate the makers saying up front that you dont need wifi or internet to use their app, more people should do the same. cant wait to use it in Paris!
Loved the previous version, but the new version won’t open despite repeated attempts.
We love Paris, and we love Parisian goodies--this app makes visits so easy. I had the original version but this is much improved. I love that after you get hours and locations you can touch the map for directions. Awesome. David Liebovitz is my favorite food blogger and hes done a great job with this app. Absolutely love it.
I am a huge fan of David and was super excited about this app, but honestly it needs improvement. The Near Me feature doesnt work no matter how many times I restart my phone. The glossary descriptions are cut off. There need to be more categories. For example, boulangeries could be a category. Not strictly speaking pastry, but closely related (same for coffee). Maybe a map of Paris for those not familiar with which district is which. I also wish there were a way to track places visited.
